Pertahankan Hutanku di Perempatan Padas - Ngawi, Waktu lebaran idul fitri kemarin yaitu idul fitri di tahun 1432H atau 2011M rasanya dari kota caruban ke arah ngawi udara panas sangat menyengat, sangat berbeda dengan beberapa kota sebelumnya yang kami lewati. Esoknya kami jalan jalan keluar dari desa, tibalah di perempatan kecamatan padas disana kami menemukan hutan kecil dipinggir jalan yang terdiri dari 6 batang pohon trembesi yang berukuran besar. saat kami melewati jalan itu udara sejuk terasa menyegarkan suasana yang sangat berbanding terbalik dengan udara disekitarnya. walau sesaat senang sekali bisa menikmati hutan kecil itu, harapanku semoga hutan kecil itu akan terus dipertahankan dan bila perlu ditambah alias diperluas. entah siapa pemiliknya yang jelas hal itu sangat menyejukkan.

untuk anda warga sekitar padas, bila anda melewatinya singgahlah walau sejenak rasakan sejuknya maka anda akan berfikir akan menjaga hutan juga.
di ngawi banyak sekali pabrik pengolah kayu, tentu saja kami sangat kuatir bila hutan kecil itu kelak akan ditebang.
